Exciting times for the K6 crew! DUDE RECORDS will be releasing the debut KEEPIN' 6 album "UNCENSORED" in Japan on MAY 28.

DUDE RECORDS have released several Japanese and American ska-punk bands including Mustard Plug and BIG D And The Kids Table.

Is this the start of the inevitable K6 worldwide takeover???

Welcome to the Stereo Dynamite post-Canadian Music Week wrap up. We would like to start off by saying that it was great to see so many old friends from around the globe (and to meet so many new ones!) Sorry about the terrible weather.

AUTOMATIC DUB R!OT had a really fun show during the festival kick-off with NYC's DUB TRIO. The band will start recording their debut album in the next 2 weeks. Be sure to check back here for FREE MP3s soon!

THE CREEPSHOW played a killer late night show during the Festival's last night at the Horseshoe Tavern. If you were there however, then you may have heard the news... Stereo Dynamite will NOT be releasing the next Creepshow album. The band are moving on to a new label and we wish them all the best of luck with everything in the future.

Outside of those performances from Stereo Dynamite artists, we got to see some great shows by: MAXIMUM THE HORMONE (Japan), Zuku (Toronto), and of course the (Al)mighty HELL YEAH FUCK YEAH (Queen St.)

In other label news;

KEEPIN' 6: We're in the process of finalizing a date to film the band's new video for "LT (Stop Tellin' Me Lies)". With a bit of luck and some elbow grease, we should have this one ready in no time at all. Oh, and did anyone see the K6 performance at the EDGE 102 "FU Awards"? Absolutely amazing. The band killed it!

Hello and welcome to 2008! The year is only 2 days old and already things are kicking into high gear around here... Here's just a glimpse of things that are happening with Stereo Dynamite in 2008:

AUTOMATIC DUB R!OT: Debut album from Stereo Dynamite's own Adam (DOOM) Sewell's new band will be released later this spring. Fans of The Clash, The Ruts, The Specials and old school punk/reggae should take note.

THE CREEPSHOW: The band have already started demo'ing new material for their 2nd album (and 1st to feature new vocalist SARAH SIN). Expect a late spring release from everyone's favorite guys and ghoul!

KEEPIN' 6: The band's first single "LT (Stop tellin' Me Lies)" goes to radio next week (Jan. 7)! ATTN: K6 FANS IN TORONTO: PLEASE BE SURE TO REQUEST THE BAND AT EDGE 102!! (Please AND Thank You!)

NEW STEREO DYNAMITE HQ: After 2 years of suffering through life on Queen St. West in downtown Toronto, we have finally moved our headquarters to a much more tolerable neighborhood in the "New West Annex" (Hahahaha...) Much better mindset 'round here, no meth heads, no ironic mustaches, and no indie rock poseurs anywhere in sight. HALLELUJAH! The last of the Annex punks has come home again!

Formerly known as the Mississauga Arts Awards, the "MARTY'S" is a gala event put on by the Mississauga Arts Council. KEEPIN' 6 joins Billy Talent as the only musical bands to ever win the award in it's 13 year history.

Guitarist Jason Wilford comments "Thanks to everyone who made this possible! First and foremost our fans who have supported us since day one, the Wilford, Wilkinson, Hotchkiss, and Renwick families, Shum & Adam @ Stereo Dynamite Recordings, Nikki Nelson for nominating us, and the City of Mississauga and the Arts Council for recognizing the contribution of a band like ours!"

SARAH SIN JOINS THE CREEPSHOW FULL TIME!!!!

That's right creeps! Sarah Sin will now takeover as lead singer/guitarist of The Creepshow!

Well, it's been a crazy year for the creepshow......Hellcat got preggers and had a beautiful baby girl lilly-mae! During her "maternity leave", we were lucky enough to have a perfect "fill-in" in hellcat's sister SARAH SIN!  She learned the songs super fast, and we immediately got in the van and showed her what touring is all about! Her 1st tour was 6 weeks in europe, where we got to share the stage with bands like The Meteors, Demented are Go, Frantic Flintstones, Mad Sin and Frenzy......She also got to experience the down side of touring, when we got robbed in spain, and then a few days later she got a virus, and ended up in a german hospital and stayed overnight.....The next morning we picked her up and she played a show that night! for that , she wins the "toughest bitch in rock n' roll" award!

since that tour, we've gone back to spain and played the calella psychobilly meeting, did a full canadian tour, and 3 weeks in the u.s. including 2 nights at the hollywood showdown, and made it back home all in one piece!

In between tours, Hellcat, and the rest of the Creepshow agreed that it would work out best for all of us if we continue with Sarah Sin as our lead singer, and Hellcat would start her own band and go solo!

There are no bad feelings between us, and we wish her the best of luck in her new project Hellcat and the Prowl! She will also be making one last appearence in the video for "THE GARDEN" which we will be shooting on oct.21st! We will put it up as soon as it's done!

In other news! we have been super busy in our shirt time off writing songs for the new record with Sarah, and we couldn't be more excited!!!  

We will also be making our 1st trip to the u.k.!!!! just over two weeks of dates, including London with Demented Are Go, and The Psychobilly Bash in Birmingham w/the Meteors!!!! Plus 2 dates in Germany , and 2 in Finland!!! Check the tourdates for more info......

We have also just been added to some dates on the "20 years of Sin" Mad Sin tour in december!!!!! there are a few german dates and it looks like we'll be visiting our friends in Prague, Czech Republic!!!

THE CREEPSHOW | HELLCAT GOES SOLO!

Looks like all of you Creepshow fans will soon have a reason to rejoice: Hellcat is going to release a solo record! She's just announced (via her official Myspace blog) that she's officially left the Creepshow and has started work on a new album! Here's the word straight from her blog:

When is Hellcat coming back to the stage you ask???

ATTN CREEPS!!! Heya, Hellcat here with THE BIG ANNOUNCMENT you've all been waiting for about my return to THE CREEPSHOW!

First off I want to thank everyone of you for the well wishes and the many, many congrats on the birth of Lily Mae. She's wonderful and both myself and her ever so handsome daddy are so proud :)

As of late I have been inundated with emails and myspace messages about my return to the band.. Well, I have some bad news and I have some good news about that.. here' it goes...

Here's the BAD news:

Ok, I will not be returning to The Creepshow... But, I want you to know my final decision had nothing to do with the birth of our daugther. (here's where the good news comes in). No, I'm not getting out of the music scene at all...

My choice is based soley on the fact that I have written a ton of new songs on my time off and none of it (for me) is "creepshow material".

What I'm trying to say is: I just can't bring myself to write another Creepshow record, and so... i've decided to go solo!

The new stuff I'm writing is more of a darker sorta vibe, really eerie moody stuff with some pretty rockin' overtones... I am REALLY stoked on it and i think those of you who liked The Creepshow will LOVE this new stuff of mine.

I am currently in the process of recording my CD and its been going amazing!!. I will put up a myspace profile up before too long so you can all have a listen to some demo versions of some of the songs while I put the finishing touches on my record.

What's the new band called you ask?... HELLCAT AND THE PROWL. What else?!?!

I've hired an amazing group of musicans from some other bands I know you all recognize too... but you'll just have to wait and see to find out who ;)

The new PROWL stuff is not a huge leap from one side of the spectrum to another really... I mean you'll still get some of the same flavour of some of my darker country stuff i've written like 'The Garden' But, there's also some real tear your head off rockers like i've written in the past as well (i.e Zombies Ate Her Brain, $ell Your $oul, Candy Kiss, Shake, Cherryhill etc...) on my new album.

But, better!

The initial plan was for me to stay at home, not tour, write Creepshow records, design their logos/artwork and sort of sit on the sidelines... but that just aint me.

So keep your eyeballs peeled for HELLCAT and THE PROWL...

In closing I would like to wish my sister Sarah all the best.

(My final hurrah with my old band will be the premier of a video for my song 'The Garden' which we're filming in september, so make sure you watch out for it!!)

MONSTER VOODOO MACHINE | 1st SHOW IN 9 YEARS ANNOUNCED!

Who?!? What?!? Did Hell just freeze over...?!? MONSTER VOODOO MACHINE the Juno Award Winning hardcore / metal / electronic / noise bastards featuring Stereo Dynamite President ADAM (DOOM) Sewell will be playing their first show in 9 years in Toronto on Thursday August 9th.

The band who spent the majority of the 90's on the road with Marilyn Manson, Fear Factory and the Ozzfest (in 1998 M.V.M. became the first Canadian band to play the Ozzfest Tour) will be announcing more shows in the near future. Expect to see new recordings in the not-too-distant future as well.

MISSISSAUGA, ON. SKA-PUNK BAND KEEPIN' 6.

BAND TO RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM "UNCENSORED" ON JUNE 12, 2007

Toronto, ON - Stereo Dynamite Recordings are pleased to announce the signing of Mississauga Ontario's own ska-punk, buzz band Keepin' 6. The band is a favorite in the Southern Ontario punk scene, and join the Stereo Dynamite Recordings roster of artists which include The Creepshow, The Video Dead and The Matadors.

"I've had the opportunity to watch Keepin' 6 develop over the years into an undeniably explosive band" says Stereo Dynamite President Adam (DOOM) Sewell. "It's really exciting for the label to be involved with the band at this point in their career. They're hell-bent on making fantastic music, playing kick-ass shows and touring until they drop. We're gonna use some of that energy to spread the gospel of Keepin' 6!"

Formed in 2003 by 4 lifelong friends; drummer Matt "Phatty" Wilkinson, guitarist Jason Wilford, bassist Dan Renwick and vocalist Bryan Hotchkiss, KEEPIN' 6 have spent the past few years playing hundreds of all ages shows in the local underground ska-punk scene alongside such local peers as illScarlett and The Flatliners.

Stereo Dynamite will release the band's debut album UNCENSORED on June 12th of this year. Produced by Steve Rizun (illScarlett, Hostage Life, The Creepshow), the album is 11 tracks of high-energy ska-punk fused to modern rock sensibilities. Combining a manic energy with hooks that will stay in your head for days, UNCENSORED is an album of songs that might just be the sonic missing link between Rancid and Billy Talent.

"We're very stoked to be working with Stereo Dynamite, the only label with enough balls to put out a record as uncensored as this is!" comments band guitarist Jason Wilford.

"Get ready for the chaos!" continues Sewell. "Once their fans get to hear this album, the buzz on the band is gonna spread like wildfire!"

Keepin' 6 are currently planning summer and fall tours. Expect a first video and radio single from the album UNCENSORED to be announced shortly.

THE CREEPSHOW | LETTER FROM HELL CAT!

ATTN CREEPS!!!:

I just wanted to make an announcement to let you all know what is shakin' in CREEPSHOW'LAND!!!....

There are going to be a few temporary changes happening in the over the next while. Well are you ready? Are you sitting down for this?...

First off, I am happy to announce that this coming May, the incredibly handsome Hooch and I are expecting a BABY!!!... That's right a Hellkitten... we have spawned... and couldn't be happier :)

What does this mean for the Creepshow? Well...

For one thing, I won't be playing live shows for the time being. However, I will continue to be involved in everything Creepshow including writing the next record (which we've already started!) and all other band-type stuff.

Will you be able to see The Creepshow during my brief time off? HELL YES YOU WILL!!!...

My sister Sarah Blackwood (pictured below with the knife to my throat) will be FILLING IN in my absence... So, you'll still get your dose of Creepshow while I'm away... not to worry.

I know ya'll will show her the same good time you've shown me... she's a great little rocker and will keep the creep in my stead for this short little while. I've already given her the severed head's up that we have the greatest fans EVER... and she's super stoked and thrilled to pitch in and help until my return.

I am NOT leaving the band at all... this is just (as I have previously mentioned) a break, a hiatus.... call it a maternity leave if you will...

I will keep everyone updated as to what is going on with me on both The Creepshow's myspace and my own...perhaps post some pics of the wee'un down the road...ya never know!
