TORONTO,
ON. - After several years of releasing mostly ska-punk
and psychobilly albums, the Stereo Dynamite offices suddenly
got a hell of a lot noisier with the recent addition to
the label roster of Toronto-based hardcore punk, rock
n' roll killing machine BASTARD CHILD DEATH CULT.
Together
for less than a year, BC x DC feature x-members of 2 of
Toronto's loudest and hardest rocking bands DAMN 13 and
CANCER BATS. The band describe themselves as "a secret
society in the underbelly of the Toronto music scene.
A collective of noise merchants who will stop at nothing
to preserve the city's legacy of "amps-on-11, adrenalin-overdrive,
chaos-at-all-costs" hardcore-punk Rock N' Roll gospel."
Musically, the band come across as a unique hardcore-punk
mix of old school (Black Flag, Void) and the new school
(The Bronx, Victims).
The
band have just finished recording their debut album with
producer Jon Drew (Tokyo Police Club / Fucked Up). Stereo
Dynamite are aiming for a June release date for the as-of-yet
untitled album.

they return, the band will be hitting the recording studio
to record some brand new songs with producer Steve Rizun!

Within
48 hours of the KEEPIN' 6 "LT (Stop Tellin' Me Lies)"
video being posted online last week, it raced up the Youtube
charts to become the #25 Most Watched Music Video In Canada!
Hell yeah!
And
then, it became the very first video to be featured on
the CBC3 Radio homepage! And
if that weren't enough, it is currently one of the featured
videos on the Myspace Canada Music Homepage!
And
now we get word that the video will be shown on Much Music's
THE PUNK SHOW this coming Saturday night! AND that it
will be added to Much Music's flash video site: MUCH AXS!
This
is officially ground zero for the K6 world takeover!

CHILD DEATH CULT - a band so loud, so intense, so

glory of their 80's HC - meets - millennial wall-of-guitars
sound. Well get ready, becuase the band will be releasing
their debut CD/EP later this fall. Featuring x-members
